“Cars used to be so cool” is a comment we often hear online – and I agree. The lines, colors, shapes and sheer personality of these fascinating objects of design convey so much about the era they were made in.
Nowadays, we look fondly on the days of free expression and out-of-the box thinking, while conveniently forgetting the noise, pollution and lack of safety that vintage automobiles posed.
Building on the Instagram trend of photographing “car corners” and my affinity for details, I started looking out for out-of-the-ordinary automobiles parked in public places – and building a collection of vintage car details.
