Initiated by Julia Schreitl, who also collaborated on the Buddeln Baggern Bauen show, this musical project unites five women who are active jazz performers and true masters of their respective instruments.
As stated in the trailer, the purpose was to depict multiple archetypes of women throughout history and society and to alleviate negative attributes that have been associated with some traditionally “feminine” traits.
For this video I accompanied the group at a general rehearsal as well as at their first live performance at a venue in Vienna.
